Agnes Sheahan, 93, of Beal City, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Rosebush Manor in Rosebush. A Funeral Mass for Agnes will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Beal City with Father Melvin Fox presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the gathering room of the church on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. with the Vigil service beginning at 6:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Thursday one hour prior to Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Lux Family Life Story Funeral Home. Agnes was born Jan. 24, 1921, in Beal City, daughter of the late Henry and Catherine (Tilmann) Grinzinger. She married Donald J. Sheahan on April 21, 1938, at St. Philomena Church. Agnes was a lifelong member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. She is survived by four children, Sister Maureen Catherine Sheahan of Grand Rapids, Mary Lou (Marshall) Jurn of Phoenix, AZ, Jim (Rose) Sheahan of Lake, and Patricia Sutton of Naples, FL; five grandchildren, Dave Sheahan, Bryan Jurn, Kimberly Scott, Eric Sutton, and Laurie Saunders; six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Lyndsey Sheahan, Abaigeal and Alannah Scott, Kedren Saunders, and Beck Sutton; three brothers, Jerry Grinzinger and Charlie (Bernice) Grinzinger, both of Mt. Pleasant and Bob (Ellen) Grinzinger of Beal City; brother-in-law, Tom Bollman of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
