Alberta Anna Thomas, age 98, of Weidman, formerly of Canton, Michigan went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2018.

Alberta was born on January 15, 1920 to Rock and Anna (Zander) Bronson in Plymouth, MI. She graduated from Plymouth Schools. On July 26, 1936 Alberta married Joseph Herbert Thomas in Indiana. Alberta enjoyed traveling, the casinos, bingo and most of all she loved her family. She was a charter member of the Eagles.

Alberta is survived by her 3 daughters; Barbara Miller, Thelma Hudson and Mary Ann (George) Funke. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Cindy, Robin, Michelle, Charles, Michael, Anita Marie and George Jr and numerous great grandchildren.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Joseph Herbert Thomas Jr. and granddaughter, Alberta Costello.

Honoring Alberta's wishes cremation has taken place.
