Alexander Harrison Stickney

Alexander Stickney, 32, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 10, 2021, at his home. Alex was born February 10, 1989, in Alma, Michigan, son of Leonard Stickney and Anne (Berry) Bronson. On September 12, 2014, Alex married the love of his life, Emma Napier in Mt. Pleasant. He was recently employed by Go-Puff and previously worked for Delfield for four years. Alex enjoyed being at home so he could spend as much time with his family. He was a loving husband and father, he loved his children and loved playing with them. Alex was very creative and a talented artist, he will be missed by so many people.  Alex is survived by his wife, Emma; three children, Mitaya Collin, Wilhelmina Stickney, and Eden Stickney; his parents, Leonard Stickney of Rockford and Anne Bronson of Mt. Pleasant; siblings, Nathan (Angela) Stickney of Deland, FL, Andrew (Carolina) Stickney of Cartagena, Colombia, Marcelo (Joy) Castillo of Washington D.C., Samuel Stickney of Grand Rapids, Sarah (Tyler) McClanahan of Grayling, and Helena Stickney of Rockford; step-mother, Norma Rivas of Rockford; maternal grandmother, Beth Lau of Detroit; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Alex will take place at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 11 a.m.  Family will receive friends one hour   prior to the service.  A luncheon will be provided immediately following the service in the Lincoln Reception Center (attached to the funeral home). Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
