Alice E. Reid

Alice Reid, 71, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Father Don Henkes officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Listening Ear. Alice was born Nov 6, 1943, in Isabella County, daughter of the late Chester E. and Ruth E. (Mead) Reid. She was a strong self advocate that let her wishes be known. She loved to talk about her childhood and share stories about her past. Alice is survived by a sister, Linda Reid of Mt. Pleasant; and her family and friends at Listening Ear and the Lynnwood Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Jane Barr and Jeanette Inman.
