Alice Leida (Sheldon) Rick

Alice Rick, 95, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Medilodge in Mt. Pleasant.  Alice was born on November 14, 1928, in Lansing, MI, daughter of the late George and Nina (Mong) Sheldon.  She was the last living of her 11 siblings. Alice worked at St. Lawrence Hospital (now Sparrow) in Lansing, for more than 10 years.  Alice enjoyed walking, puzzles, coloring, and visits with her family.  She is survived by her children, Robert (Michelle) Riley of Iowa, Thomas (Roseanna) Riley of Shepherd, Alex (Janet) Riley of Texas, and Henry (Patti Cramer) Riley of Lansing; daughter in law, Carolyn Riley of Lansing; 14 grandchildren, Derrick, Amber, Shawn, Gary, Christina, Amy, Bryan, Philip, Garry, Suzanna, Josh, Joe, John and Elizabeth; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Alice is preceded in death by both parents; siblings, Howard, Sarah, Henry, George, James, Ellis, Irene, William, Charles and Lewis; and sons, Donald (Rosalie) Riley and Jonathon Keith Riley.
