Allegra Ann Williams

Ann Williams, 64, of Mt. Pleasant died Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 26, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Byrne presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a vigil service beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Norval K. Morey Cancer Center at Central Michigan Community Hospital. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Ann was born July 21, 1941 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of Arthur and Naomia (Colburn) Thering. She worked at the Mt. Pleasant Center, retiring after 36 years of service. She enjoyed antiques, gardening, remodeling, landscaping and decorating. Devoted to her faith, Ann was also a member of Sacred Heart Parish. Ann is survived by her daughter, Joanne (K. Todd) Hill of Harriman, TN; three grandchildren, Samantha, Casie and MacKenzie Hill; nephew, Glen (Betty) Stiff of Mt. Pleasant and their children, Gineen (Jeremiah) Cornell, Jared Stiff and fiance, Tiffany Iacco, and Jessica Stiff and fianc Ryan Smith; and nephew, Scott (Angela) Stiff of Hudson, OH and their sons, Jason, Tyler, and Ryan Stiff. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Michael McCullough in 2001; and sister, Barbara J. Stiff in 1991.
