Amelia Cranson, 23, of Rosebush, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 16, 2022, at her home. Amelia was born September 2, 1999, in Lansing, Michigan, daughter of Mark Cranson and Kristi Richards. While finishing her general education through home schooling, Amelia attended Mid Michigan College. She was a talented artist. She specialized in body piercings, tattoo art, fluid art (with the use of poured paint), and ceramics. She had been employed by Wicked Ways in Grand Rapids the past 4 years. Amelia loved her cats, Cyrus, Ullr, and Chaos. More than anything, Amelia loved her family who will miss her dearly. She leaves behind her mother, Kristi Richards of Rosebush; father, Mark (Cathy) Cranson of Riverdale; siblings, Chase Cranson of Rosebush, Noah Cranson (Rose Cyburt) of Dayton, OH, Obadiah Cranson, Naomi Cranson, and Gabriel Cranson, all of Rosebush; step siblings, Sky (Karli) King and Wylie King (Noah Stebbins), both of St. Louis; niece and nephew, Pierce and Opal King; maternal grandparents, Melanie Hudson and Paul (Ruth) Richards; paternal grandparents, Wayne (Evelyn) Cranson; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and close friends, Steve Spray and his daughter Korrah, Dakota Kwiatkowski, Bruce Whipple and Sara Haas. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Harold Hudson; and uncles, Nickolas Richards, Todd Richards, and Dale Hudson. Amelia's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 22, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Cullen officiating. Following the service, all are invited to a luncheon at Mt. Pleasant Community Church. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
