Angeline H. Wawersik

Angeline H. Wawersik, 91, of Weidman died Thursday, February 7, 2002 at home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2002 at St. Joseph Church in Beal City with Father John Cotter officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Friday from 2-9 p.m. with a vigil service beginning at 8:00 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to Hospice of Central Michigan. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Angeline was born March 28, 1910, in Nottawa Township, the daughter of William and Amelia (Wagner) Weiber. She married Joseph Wawersik November 25, 1930 at St. Philomena Church in Beal City. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. Her favorite pastimes included cooking and gardening. Angeline is survived by two sons, Ron (Betty) Wawersik of Weidman and Dale (Mary Ann) Wawersik of Weidman; three daughters, Joan (Ed) Faber of Shepherd, Theresa Austin of Bath, and Shirley (Fred) Meyer of Florida; 20 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph in 2000; son, Kenneth Wawersik in 1966; grandson, Danny Faber in 1989; great grandson, Joshua Faber in 1993; and her sister, Irene Hauck.
