Anita Lynn Tinker

Anita Lynn Tinker, 57, of Mt. Pleasant, MI passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at McLaren-Central Michigan. Anita was born on June 6, 1957 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Michael R. and Illa (Graham) Daugherty. She worked as a welder for many years and owned and operated Angels Nest Daycare in Davison for many years. Anita loved flowers, gardening, laying in the sun, and especially her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved Joyce Meyer. Anita is survived by her children, Patrick Thompson and Melissa Detty of Mt. Pleasant, Krystal Thompson and Nicholas Densmore of Mt. Pleasant, Kayla Thompson and Robert Craven of Blanchard, and Wendy Samples of North Carolina; grandchildren, Mariah and Jeremiah Thompson and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two brothers, Joseph Graham and Michael Daughtery. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Victory Christian Center at 1114 West High Street. Friends and family will gather at 1:00 p.m. until time of the service. Memorial contributions have been suggested to the needs of the family.
