Annabelle Jean Dwyer, 72, formerly of Lake Station and Mason died Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at the Wooden Rocker in Mt. Pleasant. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at St. Cecelia Cemetery in Clare with prayers led by Father Robert Byrne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home Ann was born February 20, 1930, in Clare, the daughter of Thomas Earl and Dora May (Allan) Dwyer. She graduated from Clare High School in 1949, received her degree at Marywood College in Grand Rapids and became an x-ray technician. She worked at Mason General Hospital and Lansing Sparrow Hospital until her retirement. She moved to Lake Station and remained there until 1996 at which time she became a resident of the Wooden Rocker. Ann loved animals, nature, music and life. Ann is survived by two brothers, James (Jean) Dwyer of Mt. Pleasant and Michael (Leah) Dwyer of St. Louis; one sister, Kay Chamberlain of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters-in-law, Mary Jean Dwyer of Traverse City and Helen Dwyer of California; a special friend, Hernan Marin; and numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Thomas, Raymond, and John Dwyer; and two sisters, Marjorie Thayer and Rosemary Schofield.
