Anna Beauchamp, 93, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Sunday, August 19, 2007 at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Stephen Shugert officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service begins. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Commission on Aging. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Anna was born Dec. 30, 1913, in Manistee, the daughter of John and Hannah (Carlson) Larson. She married Robert Beauchamp on Aug. 20, 1938 in Cadillac. In 1952 Anna moved to Mt. Pleasant. For nearly 20 years she worked as a secretary at the Mt. Pleasant Center. She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was also an avid Detroit Tiger fan and enjoyed cooking. Anna is survived by her daughter, Jo (Albert) Palm of Mt. Pleasant; and two granddaughters, Kara Palm of Bozeman, MT, and Kristin (Ken Taylor) Palm of San Francisco, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1985; son, James Beauchamp in 2000; son-in-law Christopher Collins; two brothers; and two sisters.
