Anna Marie Huber

Anna Marie Huber, 82, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 at Central Michigan Community Hospital. Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, at Lux Funeral Home with Father Robert Byrne officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the service begins at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Commission on Aging. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Anna Marie was born May 4, 1924, in Isabella County, the daughter of Louis and Catherine (Finnerty) Fox. She married Duane Huber on Nov. 9, 1956 in Clare. In 1942 she graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. In addition to raising a family she had worked as a bookkeeper most of her life, retiring from Sowle Mayflower in 1989. Some of her favorite pastimes were playing bingo and cards, fishing, hunting, and especially, spending time with her family. Anna Marie is survived by five children, Jay and Brenda Huber of Mt. Pleasant, Susan and Mike Beaver of Grand Haven, Carol and Jerel Konwinski of Mt. Pleasant, Tim Huber and William Mann of Palm Springs, Ca., and Tom and Holly Huber of Rainbow Lake, NY; and seven grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer, Matthew, Emily, Tommy, Hannah, and Ivy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane in 2003; two brothers, Clarence and Tom Fox; and two sisters, Gertrude Theisen and Mary Alice Walker.
