Anna Myshock, 97, of Leaton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008 at the Prestige Centre in Mt. Pleasant. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at St. Henry Catholic Church with Fr. Don Henkes presiding. Friends may call at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, 2300 S. Lincoln, on Tuesday from 3-9 p.m. with the Vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Henry and St. Charles Churches or Hospice of Central Michigan. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Anna was born Oct. 15, 1910, in Detroit, the daughter of John and Anna (Janosz) Zajac. She married Adam Myshock on August 25, 1925 at St. Charles Church in Leaton. She worked at Agnes Wonderland for 36 years, retiring at the age of 93. Some of her favorite pastimes were sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, farming, music, cooking, and ceramics. She loved dancing the polka. She was a member of St. Charles Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters. Anna, a woman of great faith and love of her Lord, shared that love with her family, friends, and especially her extended family at the Prestige Centre. Anna is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Ryzenga of Midland and Diane (Don) Thering of Shepherd; daughter-in-law, Joanne (Don) Hillier of Gladwin; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John Zyonse of Mt. Pleasant and Stanley Zajac of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam; daughter, Cecelia Nycek; son, Adam Myshock, Jr.; two sons-in-law, Ray Ryzenga and Mitchell Nycek; granddaughter, Gloria Nycek; great-grandchildren Mariah Myshock and Brandon Moseley; and five sisters, Helen, Millie, Marie, Estelle, and infant sister, Elizabeth.
