Anne Wyatt Poston

Anne Poston, 51, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022, at home with her family by her side. Anne was born July 25, 1970, in Silver Spring, Maryland, daughter of Lawrence and Carol (Hoaglan) Poston. She graduated from Oak Park and River Forest High School (Illinois) in 1988 and received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Knox College in 1992. She earned a master's degree from Central Michigan University and worked for several years in a biochemistry lab. Anne loved animals, was a voracious reader, and having lived in Luxembourg and Italy, she had a passion for traveling, especially in Europe. On November 3, 1999, Anne married David Jesuit in Edinburgh, Scotland. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, David Jesuit; son Daniel Sanford Jesuit; parents, Lawrence and Carol Poston of Galena, IL; sister, Rachel (Brian) Feiler of Oswego, IL; brothers in-law, Mike Jesuit, Steve Jesuit, and Nick Jesuit; and niece, Gianna Feiler. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Andrew Sanford Poston; and parents in-law, Ken and Marge Jesuit. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 2:30-5 p.m. at the Annex Meeting Room at Veterans Memorial Library, with a time to share memories of Anne beginning at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ten 16 Recovery Network: www.1016.org/get-involved .
