Annette was born June 16, 1957, in Midland, Michigan, daughter of the late Andrew F. and Etta C. (Cary) McLaughlin. She graduated from Sanford-Meridian High School in 1975. She began her nursing degree with Calvin College in Grand Rapids and graduated from Blodgett Memorial Medical Center of Nursing in 1978, also in Grand Rapids. Her nursing career started in the oncology department at Midland Hospital in Midland. She moved to the office of Dr. Richard Howell until his retirement then she transferred to the office of Dr. John Pfenniger. Where she finished her nursing career. Her joy of being outdoors gave Annette a chance to do some of her favorite things: snowmobiling, riding the side-by-side, walking, flower gardening, or just taking in all the beauty of living on Littlefield Lake. She enjoyed cooking and was well-known for her homemade bread. Among many things, she will be remembered as one who helped others before helping herself. Annette is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ed Reihl; sons, Joel Reihl and Cory (fiancée Anna Travis) Reihl, both of Lake; brother, Thomas McLaughlin (Tammy Kerr) of Midland; nephews, Andrew McLaughlin (Angela Hyer) and Chad McLaughlin; in-laws, Rose Sheahan, Peggy Reihl, Vera (Ron) Bollman, Howard Reihl, Helen Reihl, and Joseph Reihl; and numerous nieces and nephews.
