Anthony Scott Clouse

Anthony Clouse, known to many as Tony, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center. He was 57. Born on September 8, 1968, Tony was the beloved son of Leonard and Kathy (Myers) Clouse, and brother to Michael. A graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School in 1987, Tony married the love of his life, Linda J. Kullman, on August 10, 1991, at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.

He owned and operated Clouse Plumbing until he began working for ETNA Supply as a plumbing sales rep. He was currently employed by Bradley Corporation as a sales engineer where he built many meaningful relationships with others in the industry.

Tony loved deeply and fully. He adored his family, his friends, and everyone blessed enough to know him. He especially loved his children and his precious granddaughter who brought him so much joy. Tony and Linda loved doing life together; traveling, going to dinner with friends, pontoon rides, bonfires, spending time with family and friends, greeting at church, and this past year beginning a new journey together of walking daily and reading through the Bible. He had a huge personality, a servant's heart, and a way of making people feel loved, welcomed, and important. The world feels much quieter without him already.

Those who knew Tony know he would help anyone, anywhere, for any reason. He was able to help so many people and figure out so many solutions to anyone's problems. Even though he lived a short amount of years, he lived double the life of most because he was so active and involved, never missing the opportunity to fix something or help someone. He was a true hero in his community. He had the opportunity to commit one final act of heroism: he was able to donate his organs and tissues through Gift of Life. For those who want to honor Tony, please do something for your community or someone in need whenever you can. That is how Tony lived his life and that's how he would want people to remember him. He was a superhero, a legend, an amazing father, grandpa, husband, son, brother, and friend to all.

Tony leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Linda; children, Joslin (Sean) Ouellette of Mt. Pleasant and Spencer (Chloe Ilacqua) Clouse of Temperance; granddaughter, Isla; mother, Kathy Clouse of Rosebush; brother, Michael (Paulette) Clouse of Blanchard; parents in-law, Ray and Sue Kullman of Shepherd and their children, Kim and Greg Hitchingham of Dewitt, Jennifer and Tim Conroy of Shepherd, Alan and Sandy Kullman of Mt. Pleasant, and Steven "Bucky" Kullman; many beloved nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Todd and Marci Gruss.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard in 2017.

A funeral celebrating Tony's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church with Aaron Mora officiating. All are invited to a luncheon at the church, immediately following. The family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Community Church .
