Arnold (Arnie) Leroy Thompson Jr. 88 Passed away at home on July 12, 2022, with his wife and children by his side. He was born in Farwell, MI to Arnold and Oleta (Pulcifer) Thompson on Feb 11, 1934. Arnold married his beloved wife Norma (Hilton) in Greenville, MI on August 21, 1954. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 4, 1949, with six generations of his children as Jehovah's Witnesses. Arnold and Norma enjoyed camping and fishing with their children and other family and friends. He enjoyed watching football and golf. He retired from Alma Products after 17 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Oleta (Pulcifer) Thompson, his oldest son John Thompson, brother Allen Thompson and his wife Katherine (Schultz) Thompson, brother Richard Thompson and great grandson Ty Martin. He is survived by his children Beckie (Mike) Tedhams of Sumner, Ruth (Scott) Martin of Riverdale, Mary Knight of Lansing, Marlene (Duane) Grams of Edmore, Joe (Amy) Thompson of Riverdale, and Aleta (AJ) of Lansing. Brothers Duane (Linda) Thompson of Grand Rapids, twins Daniel (Mary Jo) and Donald (Lynn) Thompson and Sister-in-Law Leslie (Greene) Thompson of Holt. Grandchildren Joey Lee Pipes, Rachel (Mike) Kalka, Joshua (Mandy) Thompson, Terah Tedhams, James (Katie) Thompson, Ka'desh Martin, Jason Tedhams, Matt Martin, Tim (Fawn) Thompson, Jeff Thompson, Meghan Grams and Gaige Thompson. Twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held August 7th at 3:30pm over zoom with his nephew Brian Thompson officiating.
