Austin Gene Gibson, age 22, of Elm Hall passed away suddenly on November 10, 2017.

Austin was born on September 26, 1995 to James M. and Jessica F. (Gibson) Sturtevant, Jr in Lansing, MI. He grew up in the Maple Rapids area and graduated with the class of 2014 from Fulton High School. He was a member of the wrestling team during his high school years. Austin was an avid hunter and fisherman and a true redneck. He would help anyone that was in need, loved being with his family and friends; he thoroughly enjoyed being uncle to his nephew, Levi.

Austin is survived by his parents, James and Jessica Sturtevant; sister and brothers, Kari Gibson, JD & Jordan Sturtevant. He will also be missed by his grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew, Levi and many friends.

Austin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Gibson and great grandpa, David Majka.

A memorial service in celebrating the life of Austin will take place on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maple Rapids United Methodist Church with Pastor Kathy Leydorf-Keck officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial donations in Austin's honor may be made to the Sumner-Seville Rescue. Envelopes will be available at the church and funeral home.
