Barbara Jean Haenke

Barbara Jean (Keelean) Haenke was born on December 10, 1942 in Lakeview, Michigan to Frances Brimmer and Lloyd Alec Keelean. Barbara passed away at her home on August 13, 2018 after a courageous battle recovering from a stroke with Dan, her husband of 56 years, by her side. Barbara is survived by her husband, Dan; a son, Ritch (Dale) of Austin, TX, angel daughter, Kimberly (Kevin) Van De Perre of Blanchard; grandsons, Kaleb (Piper) Van De Perre and Ethan Van De Perre of Lynchburg, VA, Patrick Paul of Elwell; three sisters, one brother, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kevin; two brothers and one sister.Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to all that knew her. She was active in the community in supporting the schools, neighborhood charity drives, and making the things she cared about better for her involvement. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Stroke Association, http://www.stroke.org/ or to the Isabella Community Soup Kitchen, http://www.icsk.org/ with envelopes available at Rowley Funeral Home. As per Barbaras wishes, there will be no services and interment of her cremated remains will be held at a later date at Pine River Cemetery in Blanchard.
