Barbara Jean Mroz

Barbara Mroz, 73, of Beal City, passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at home surrounded by her family. A Funeral Mass for Barb will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at Ave Maria Parish St. Denis Church in Lexington MI with Father Don Eppenbrock presiding. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. with a rosary at 3 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until Mass begins. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice of Mt. Pleasant or Ave Maria Parish in Lexington. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church. Barb was born Jan. 15, 1941, in Detroit, daughter of the late John and Edna (Francis) McEntaggart. She married Andrew Mroz on Feb. 20, 1960. She is survived by four children, David (Diane) Mroz of Lapeer, Gerald (Crystal) Mroz of Brownstown, Diane (Edward) Miller of Canton, and Phillip (Richard Thoreilson) Mroz of Seattle; two grandchildren, Samantha and Tyler Mroz; and siblings, Edna Quade and Michael McEntaggart, both of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy in 1999; daughter, Mary Mroz; sister, Patricia Darragh; and brother, John Bernie McEntaggart.
