Beatrice Ogugua Okonmah, age 81, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Thursday, October 04, 2018 at home.

Beatrice was born on May 31, 1937 to Vincent and Josephine (Odogbo) Okwedimbu in Nigeria. She obtained her education in Nigeria and worked as a principal in Nigeria.

Beatrice is survived by her children; Maureen and Patrick Okonkwo, Dike Okonmah, Albert Okonmah, Isioma and Alex Erife and Collins and Wendy Nzolo Uwaje; 19 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Florence Omwuememe.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents and one child, Franca Okwuosah.

Beatrice will be buried in her homeland of Nigeria at a later date.
