Bernadette Julie Fisher

Bernadette Fisher, 57, of Shepherd and formerly of St. Clair Shores, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017, at MidMichigan Health Care System in Midland. A Funeral Mass for Bernadette will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, October 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Don Henkes as celebrant. A luncheon will follow at Sacred Heart Parish Hall. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan on Tuesday, October 24, at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home on Thursday, October 19, from 4-8 p.m. with the Vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Friday one hour prior to Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Multiple System Atrophy Coalition, 9935- D Rea Rd #212, Charlotte, NC 28277. Bernadette was born May 23, 1960, in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late Frederick and Dolores (Heisler) McGregor. A 1978 graduate of South Lake High School, she married Randy Fisher on May 23, 1980, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Mt. Pleasant. She was a faithful woman, who loved her family dearly, especially her granddaughter, McKenzie. Bernadette is survived by her husband, Randy; three children, Andrew Fisher of Columbia, MO, Brittany Puckett and her daughter, McKenzie Puckett of Chili, NY, and Katelyn (Elijah) Schneider of Cary, NC; three sisters, Mary Ann (James Reardon) Rice of Reed City, Catherine Hanson of Warren, and Donna (Steve) Liburdi of Grosse Pointe; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Dolores McGregor.
