Betsy Lynn Crooker

Betsy Crooker, 65, of Buchanan, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at her home. Betsy was born on June 4, 1956, in Coldwater, Mi., daughter of the late Leonard and Stella (Bennett) Pamp.  While working for Interstate Highway Construction, in Niles, Mi, Betsy met the love of her life, Frank Crooker on a construction site. They were married on February 6, 2006, in Niles, Mi. After 25 plus years of service with the Interstate Highway crew, she retired. Betsy liked to make macro may chairs, attend Pow Wows, needle point and make rugs. Most of all, Betsy loved her family. Betsy is survived by her grandson, Isaac Pamp of Sutton's Bay; sisters, Julie Snyder, Beverly Ettinger-Pamp, Elizabeth Hughes and Colleen Wagner all of Mt. Pleasant. She is preceded in death by both parents; husband, Frank Crooker; son, Shane Pamp, and brother Mathew Pamp. Betsy's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 6, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Dale Anderson officiating. A luncheon will follow in Lincoln Reception Center (attached to the funeral home). The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to the service. Betsy will be interned at the Riverlawn Cemetery in Denver Township. Memorial contributions may be made to her grandson, Isaac Pamp, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
