Brian T. Fulkerson

Brian Fulkerson, 59, of Weidman and formerly of Oakland County, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at Central Michigan Community Hospital. His memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, 2300 S. Lincoln Rd., Mt. Pleasant, with Pastor Joe Wentworth of Central Assembly of God officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Morey Cancer Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Brian was born March 12, 1950, in Pontiac, the son of the late David and Betty (Chadek) Fulkerson. He married Penny Findley on Aug. 5, 1978, in Pontiac. In his retirement, he and his wife moved to Weidman from Oakland County in 2004. He retired from General Motors after 36 years of employment. He loved playing the piano and spending time with his grandchildren. Brian is survived by his wife of 31 years, Penny; three daughters, Janice (Kenneth) Grace of White Lake, Jenifer Weaver of Highland, and Kelly Jo (Jason Foster) Fulkerson of Weidman; six grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Fulkerson of Naples, FL, Mark (Tina) Fulkerson of Long Beach, CA, and David (Jeanne) Fulkerson of Cape Coral, FL; and two sisters, Carol (Alan) Thelen of Barryton and Judy (Rob) Adair of Clarkston.
