Brian Joseph Shaner, age 43, of Lake, MI passed away on October 30, 2019 at home.

Brian was born on September 25, 1976 to Stanley R. and Kathleen E. (Neubecker) Shaner in Mt. Pleasant. He was raised in the Weidman area. Brian enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, camping, trips to the cabin in the Upper Peninsula, most of all Brian loved to be outdoors and spending time with his family. He had worked for Straus Masonry as a bricklayer.

Brian is survived by his daughter, Hannah Mae Shaner; father and mother, Stanley & Kathleen Shaner; siblings, Janel (Berly) Shaner, Jeremy (Kelly) Shaner. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews & friends.

Brianwas preceded in death by his Grandparents.

A Celebration of Brian's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Maier Family Funeral Home, 5483 W. Weidman Rd, Weidman, Mi. The family will meet with friends from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Brian's memory to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the service.
