Carole A. Colby

Carole Colby, 74, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on June 6, 2021, at McLaren Central Michigan in Mt. Pleasant.  Carole was born on August 12, 1946, daughter of the late John and Maxine (Bohmier) Collon, in Detroit, MI.  She married her first husband Harold Hunt in 1964 in Farmington Hills, MI, and together they raised their four children, Ray, Cathleen, Christine and John.  Carole worked for Ford Company for over 20 years as a driver.  In 1988 she married her second husband George Colby, and together they liked to camp, boat, and travel.  Carole loved her grandchildren, garage sales, dining out, sewing, and knitting.  She was a good listener and enjoyed collecting angels, china and other figurines. Carole was very social and liked to watch birds.  Her dog Rambo was very special to her.  Carole is survived by her children, Ray Hunt, Cathleen (James) Menser, Christine (Brian) Borrelli, and John Hunt; grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, James and Joseph; siblings, Kathleen Shontz and Colleen Barrett.  She is preceded in death by both parents; first husband, Harold Hunt in 1985; second husband George Colby in 2011; siblings, Jack Collon, Joe Collon, Mary Beth Collon, Mike Collon,, and William Collon.  Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on a future date.  To sign the online guest book or leave a condolence for the family please visit www.CharlesRLux.com.
