Casey Aaron Donald Snyder, 27, of Clare, Michigan passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016 near Bangor, Michigan. Casey was born on August 29, 1988 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, the son of Ronald A. and Patricia A. (Dwyer) Snyder. Casey was a musician who could pick up almost any instrument and play it. He was a member of Local 601 Pipe Fitters Union. He enjoyed the Free School where he taught a class on making root beer. He enjoyed organic farming, was an artist and writer who enjoyed cooking and baking. He was a skateboarder and was known as a free spirit who thought of the earth before he did things that could harm it. Survivors include his parents, Ron and Pat Snyder of Clare; his grandmother, Dolores Snyder of Clare; his brothers and sisters, Daniel and Mike Snyder-Somers of Midland, Stephanie and Frank Michalski of Clare, Andrea and Garret Greer of of Lansing, Angelea Snyder and her husband Zach Wells of Jefferson City, MO and Caseys special friend and soul mate Kate Elko; three nieces, four nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Casey was predeceased by his maternal grandparents; his paternal grandfather; and a sister, Alisen. A memorial service celebrating Caseys life will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 1 p.m. from the Rowley Funeral Home with Rev. Carey Barker officiating. Friends and family will gather on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of the service. Friends desiring to make a memorial contribution in Caseys memory are asked to bring a flower that they picked in his memory.
