Charles Joseph Lech

Charles Lech, 84, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at his home. Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass for Charles will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Loren Kalinowski presiding. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to Mass. Interment of his ashes will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Detroit. Charles was born Oct. 22, 1930, in Detroit, son of the late Charles John and Louise (Kopczyk) Lech. He was employed by Mid Michigan Industries. He is survived by two sisters, Rose Marie Mifsud of Florida and Joan Hooper of South Lyon; many nieces and nephews; his extended family at Listening Ear; and his friends at Stans Restaurant.
