Charles "Chuck" Vannorsdall, 96, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility.  He was born November 11, 1924, in Toledo, Ohio.    Chuck served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  Chuck graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Engineering.   He married his first sweetheart, Earleen Krackow in Toledo, OH. It was a second marriage for both, having been widowed many years prior.  They were like teenagers in love, holding hands, having fun together.  They also traveled extensively, played bridge, and spent summer days at the cottage on Blue Lake that Chuck had built in his younger years.  Chuck is survived by his daughter in-law, Sue Vannorsdall of Hortonville, WI; granddaughter, Kim (Rob) Rice of Oshkosh, WI; five step children, Pattie (Mark) Wampler of Chesterfield Township, Maureen (Max) Machuta of Traverse City, Daniel (Jean) Kane of Mt. Pleasant, Roberta (Victor) Wezensky of Walled Lake, and Christine Clark of Mt. Pleasant.  He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Earleen; son, Scott; two sisters, Joan Miller and Pat Vannorsdall; and second wife, Suzanne Kane.
