Clifford Alec Moss

Clifford Moss, 60, of Weidman, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at McLaren Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant. Clifford was born on October 1, 1961, son of Gorden and the late Dixie (Howell) Moss, in Mt. Pleasant. He graduated from Shepherd High School in 1980.  Clifford married Dawn Krueger on July 18, 1981, in Mt. Pleasant.  He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served from 1981 – 1991.   Clifford worked for Boeing Aerospace as a sheet metal and corrosion control on B52's from 1991-1994 in Saudi Arabia. From 1995 to present he owned and operated Moss Construction.  Clifford also enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with his hands.  He enjoyed projects, working on cars, scooters, and quads.  He was considered a self-taught mechanic.  Clifford also liked to play golf and was a member of the Lions Club and American Legion. He also attended the Strickland Baptist Church in Shepherd.  Clifford loved his family very much and was loved in return.  He will be greatly missed by so many.  Clifford is survived by his wife, Dawn; children, Nicole (Mike Balent) Moss of Springboro, Oh. and Kimberly Moss of Lansing; grandson, Ethan Balent; siblings, Dixie (Gary) McCormick of Grand Marais, and Wesley (Stacey) Moss of Shepherd; and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded by his mother, Dixie Howell.  Per Clifford's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services scheduled at this time.
