Colleen Starr Lator

Colleen Starr Lator, age 71 of Mt. Pleasant, MI, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at McLaren Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan with complications from pneumonia.

Colleen was born in Alma, Michigan on April 29, 1950, the daughter of Otto (Phil) and Joyce Amy (Reynolds) Lator.

She is survived by her mother Joyce Lator of DeWitt, Michigan, two brothers, Lamonte and Donna Lator of DeWitt, Michigan, Ned and Cherie Lator of Jersey Village, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Otto and sister, Cindy Lator.

Colleen resided at the Manors AFC Home in Mt. Pleasant.  She especially enjoyed butterflies and sitting outside with her housemates.  The family extends heart felt gratitude to the Manors AFC and staff for their years of loving care of Colleen.

The family is being served by Charles R Lux Family Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.  A private ceremony is planned.
