Colleen K. Milligan

Colleen Milligan, 45, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011, at home. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service is planned for 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, at the Brown and Bellows Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant. A potluck style meal is planned following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice. Envelopes are available at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Colleen was born August 19, 1965, in Big Rapids, the daughter of George A. Pat and Dorothy A. (Doak) Milligan. Her calling in life was to care for the mental and physical well-being of others. She worked as a massage therapist and clinical psychotherapist and owned Flexible Health and Wellness. Colleen is survived by two sons, Aren and George Milligan; her parents, Pat and Dorothy Milligan of Remus; three siblings, Patrick Milligan of Oregon, Keith Rose of Stanton and Gene Rose of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews; many friends and neighbors. The family extends a special thank you to Joe Wernette and Mary Ann Wernette of Remus and Tim and Julie Allen of Mt. Pleasant.
