Conrad C. Lantz

Conrad C. Lantz of Lake Isabella (formerly of Lake Wales, FL) passed away on Saturday at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility.

Connie was born on July 17, 1932 to Jack and Virginia (Glowacki) Lantz in Hamtramck, MI. and attended the schools in the Detroit area. Connie served his country in the United States Army from 1949 to 1952. The Bronze Star, Silver Star and the Purple Heart were awarded to him and he was also wounded four times during that time. Connie worked as a sales representative manager for Stark and Company for 26 years. On October 9, 2015, Conrad and Delores Garrett were united in marriage at Winter Haven, Fl. Traveling, camping and bartering were a few of Connie's favorite pastimes. He camped at Disney for 15 consecutive years and he was a member of the Elks, American Legion, life time member of VFW and he seemed to always find time for the Special Olympics.

Connie is survived by his loving wife, Delores; children, Kathy Klein, Randy Lantz, Lawrence J. Egbert III and Valarie Mears; mother-in-law, Neva Jean Cole; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Michael Garrett, Howard (Alice) Garrett, Phillip (Kathy) Garrett and Cathy Garrett and numerous cousins and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by his parent; son, Sandy Lantz; siblings, John, Helen and Alberta.

Honoring Conrad's wishes a graveside service will take place in the spring at Two Rivers Cemetery.
