Cynthia Bollman, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alma with her family by her side. She was two days from her 60th birthday. A Funeral Mass for Cindy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 13, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Don Henkes as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7:30 p.m. with the Vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Saturday one hour prior to Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church. Cindy was born October 12, 1958, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of Melvin and Pauline (Paisley) Schafer. A 1976 graduate of Beal City High School, Cindy married Timothy Bollman June 29, 1979, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Beal City. For many years she worked with her brothers business, Schafour Builders and for over 30 years she tended to the needs of the Ralph Bud Fisher Family. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, enjoyed playing cards, and belonged to a bowling and dart league. She was hardworking and helped when needed on the family farm. More than anything she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved the family time they shared together at Canadian Lakes. Cindy is survived by her husband, Tim; three children, Bryan (Katie) Bollman, Brenda Bollman (Shawn Woodbury), and Matthew (Alicia) Bollman, all of Mt. Pleasant; two grandchildren, McKenna and Mitchell; mother, Pauline Schafer of Beal City; six siblings, Linda Connors (Diane Hercher) of Mt. Pleasant, Chuck (Jeanne) Schafer of Beal City, Annette (Ed) Mogg of Mt. Pleasant, Bernie (Barbara) Schafer of Beal City, Pat (Karen) Schafer of Beal City, and Greg (Kathleen) Schafer of Beal City; in-laws, Jean (Rick) Atkin, Lisa Bollman and Karen Bishop (Michael Logsdon); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Schafer; and parents in-law, Thomas and Theresa Bollman.
