Dale A. Tilmann, 61, of Weidman, died Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at his residence. His funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, August 8, at Lux Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Fussman officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Beal City. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. and on Friday from 10-11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Dale was born February 20, 1942, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Raymond A. and Irene C. (Fox) Tilmann. He married Eileen Riley on January 28, 1998, in Fort Myers, Fla. He worked as a mason at Straus Masonry for the last 26 years. He was a member of the Eagles Club and enjoyed golfing, attending flea markets and auctions, and traveling to Florida with his wife. Dale is survived by his wife, Eileen of Weidman, seven children, Jill (John) Nealon of Florida, Karen Fazzino of Florida, Kelly (Pete) Idema of Cody, Wyoming, Stacey Tilmann of Florida, Jennee (Tony) Lehnert of Remus, Laurie (Brian) Beemer of Evart, and Jill (Mike) Ulch of Ohio; six grandchildren, Megan DiLernia, Kristen and Allisen Lehnert, Sara Rakowski and Briannah Beemer, and Caitlyn Ulch; three brothers, Russ (Barb) Tilmann, Neil Tilmann, and Dean (Cathy) Tilmann, all of Weidman; four sisters, Rose Tilmann, Anne (Ron) McDonald, Lola (Matt) Langlois, and Amy Tilmann; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
