Dale Willard Walton

Dale Walton, 55, of Lake, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013, at his home. He was born March 25, 1958, in Ypsilanti, son of Franklin D. and Carol D. (Smith) Walton. He married Connie J. Lewis on August 21, 1982, in Newton, IL. He worked alongside his brother, Frank, at F & K Tree Service. Dale is survived by his wife, Connie of Lake; three children, Lori Walton of Mt. Pleasant, Robert (Rachael Henry) Walton of Illinois, and Jennifer Lancaster of Lake; eight grandchildren, Peyton, Emily, Ethen, Maddison, Tristen, Jazman, Helena, and Marcus; his mother, Carol Smith of Shepherd; and five siblings, Frank (Rita) Walton of Shepherd, Brenda (Bill) Pearlman of Battle Creek, James Walton of Daytona, FL, Steven (Gerri) Walton of Shepherd, and Robert Walton of Battle Creek. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank; and sister, Linda Walton. The family will receive friends at Lux Family Life Story Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be in Hunt City Cemetery near Newton, IL.
