Daniel Lee Brown

Daniel Lee Brown of Alma, Mi. passed away Tuesday Oct. 11, 2022, at home after a long battle with cancer. Dan was born July 29, 1958, in Ann Arbor Mi., son of Ford & Francis Brown. He graduated from St. Louis High School in 1976 where he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. In 1998 he & Marilyn started their journey together. Married July 22, 2000, they began their travels across the U.S. First in a semi, then with National Salvage where he was a heavy equipment operator in the demolition field.  He was a member of ABATE Region 10 and the local St. Louis Moose Lodge. Dan enjoyed motorcycling, travel, woodworking and spending time with family and friends. Dan is survived by his wife Marilyn; son, Adam Brown; daughter, Haley Castillo, her sons Payton and Eli; stepdaughter, Courtney Bovee, her son Easton and daughter Ebrielle; sisters, Barb (Tom) Conrad, and Joyce Moore; sister-in-law, Florence (Gary) Brown; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ford & Francis Brown; brother, Gary Brown; sister, Denise Burlingame; and nephew Jeff Conrad. Dan will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
