Daniel J. Natzel

Daniel J. Natzel, aged 62, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Born on November 19, 1962, in Isabella County, Michigan, Dan was the first of three children to William George and Mary Margaret (Thomas) Natzel. He was a beloved brother to his younger sisters, Nora 'Nonie' and Heather.

Dan graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1981 and began his career working alongside his father at Central Janitor Service. He later joined Wonsey Tree Service before venturing out to establish his own successful cleaning business in Marco Island and Fort Meyers, Florida.

Dan was known for his love of billiards, golfing, fishing, traveling, boating, and partying. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Mary "Mickey"; sisters, Nonie Fitzpatrick of Mt. Pleasant and Heather Natzel of Los Angeles, CA; nephew, Christopher Fitzpatrick (Haley Saba) and niece Kaitlin (Ethan) Putterman; and grand niece, Leila.

He was preceded in death by his father, William, in 2022.

Cremation has taken place. Dan's life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, September 19, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Deacon Matt Begres officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service and also on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Following the service all are invited to a luncheon in Lincoln Reception Center (attached to the funeral home). His cremains will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Academy Foundation or the Isabella Community Soup Kitchen. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
