Daniel Lee Sigsbee

Daniel Sigsbee, 74, of Clare, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at home. He was born on May 9, 1948, son of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Coleman) Sigsbee, in Detroit, MI. Daniel was a straight shooter, he loved everyone.  He married Deborah MacAuley on September 6, 2014, at the Colonville Church in Clare.  Daniel liked a good cup of coffee and would regularly attend the White House Restaurant for a meeting with the "liars club".  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and depended on God for all things.  He also had a great love for his dogs and will be greatly missed by so many.    Daniel is survived by his wife, Deborah of Clare; children, Daniel Sigsbee Jr. of Jeffersonville, IN, Virginia Kaufman of Harrison, Carrie, Candace, Katrina, Amanda, Angie, Jody, Veronica, and Jessica; sister, Sharon (Michael) Frank; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Arthur and Richard; infant sister, Pam; and grandson, Caleb.  Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 1p.m. at the Browns Corner Church in Clare.  Family will receive friends two hours prior for visitation.
