Danny Ray Davis

Danny Ray Davis, 65, of Shepherd, Michigan passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 26, 2016. Danny was born on March 15, 1951 in Alma, Michigan, the son of Jack Junior and Joyce Lorraine (Parks) Davis. He married the former Sandra Kay Jewell on May 7, 1971 in Ithaca, Michigan. Sandra passed away on January 12, 2012. Danny was retired after twenty seven years of service from Randall Manufacturing where he worked in all areas of the factory including his last job in the stockroom. Danny was a member of the United Steel Workers, the UAW and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Weidman. He enjoyed panning for gold, mushroom hunting, reading, watching all kinds of sports and was a former hunter and golfer. Survivors include his children: Danny Ray Junior Davis, Marcus Davis, Michael Davis and Jacqueline C. Fairchild; his mother Joyce Davis; twelve grandchildren; three brothers: Dennis Davis, Dale Davis and Darrin Davis and three sisters: Peg Harcourt, Penny Robbins ad Paula Frost. He was preceded in death by his wife, father and brother, David. Memorial services are planned for a later date.
