David Joseph Bollman

David Bollman, 71, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at home with his family by his side.  David was born September 27, 1949, in Mt. Pleasant, son of the late Kenneth and Lucile (Bunting) Bollman.  He was a 1967 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy.  David married Jo Latham on August 5, 2009, in Marion MI. They resided in Mt. Pleasant and raised their two granddaughters: Cassidy and Casey Roderick.  He attended Mott Community College and became the Owner/Operator of his own independent office, servicing office machines and other equipment.  He retired in 2010 after being in business for 35 years. David enjoyed old cars, motorcycles and traveling to the Upper Peninsula.  He was a member of the Eagles.   David is survived by his wife of 11 years, Jo; son, James Bollman of Mt. Pleasant; stepsons, Allen (Amanda) Roderick of Coleman and Ryan (Heather) Roderick of Portland, MI; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Nancy (Rich) Opdyke of Lake Isabella, and Nanette (Jim) Ward of Howard City.  He is preceded in death by both parents; brother Jim; son, Jeff in 2013. The family wishes to thank Heartland Hospice; also a special thanks to cousins Ron Bollman for keeping the driveway plowed and Connie Lybeer for her constant support and encouragement.
