David Mclellan

David McLellan, age 81, of Remus, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025. Born on September 16, 1943, in Chaleurs, Bonaventure, Quebec, Canada.

A master electrician by trade, David dedicated his career to the industrial field, respected for his skill, integrity, and strong work ethic. He had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and horseman. He was proud to hold dual citizenship in Canada and the United States, bridging two nations while always honoring his deep Scottish heritage.

David was the beloved husband of Vicki Sue Nelson and the cherished son of the late Reginald Ernest McLellan and Aulder Grace (Babcock) McLellan. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sheila (Dean) Baker, his brother Billy (Lucille) McLellan, and his sister Donna (David) Densmore.

David is survived by the mother of his children Nellie C. (Budd) Elenbaas, his daughter Patricia (Michael) Schlanderer, his daughter Kathy (Brian) Walch, his son Donald (Wendy) McLellan, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and two sisters Betty (Bill) Evely and Margaret (Darrell) Phillips.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. David will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew him.
