David Zileski, 49, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, after enduring a massive stroke. His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, 2300 S. Lincoln Rd., with Pastor Ron Ives of Potters House officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Soup Kitchen or to the wishes of the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Dave was born Oct. 7, 1961, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of William B. and Carol (Friesner) Zileski. A graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School in 1980, Dave has owned and operated Countryside Custom Butchering for the last 26 years. Some of his favorite pastimes were restoring Hot Rods , camping, boating, snowmobiling, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Potters House and former member of the Mt. Pleasant Holiday Inn where he often spent time swimming. Dave is survived by three children, Amanda, Brandon and Brooke Zileski and their mother, Deb Zileski all of Mt. Pleasant; his mother, Carol Zileski of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Patrick (Jan) Zileski of Midland and their daughter, Jordyn; and special friend, Pam Keehbach and her family, Zack, Justin, Brandon and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his father, William B. Zileski in 2006; and a brother, William J. Zileski in 2003.
