Deborah Lynne Springstead, age 51, of Weidman passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

Deborah Lynne Springstead, nee, Pemberton, Bickley, Sawmick was born at Mount Clemens General Hospital near Detroit, MI on October 24, 1961 to Donald and Donnajean Springstead of East Detroit.

Deborah was the fourth of six children. As a young girl she attended Hosmer Elementary and Clare Public Schools. She graduated from Dominican High School. She was a recent Magna Cum Laude graduate of Ferris State University in the field of Respiratory Care and worked at Sam's Club of Mt. Pleasant as a pharmacy technician. She was a former member of the Weidman Lions Club.

Deborah was a resident of Weidman. She is survived by her father Donald Vernard Springstead of Weidman; son, Nicholas Pemberton of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Lisa Pemberton of Weidman; fiancé Tom Renner; step-sons, Christopher Bickley and Adam Sawmick: brothers Kevin Springstead and wife, Cathy, Christopher Springstead and Jennifer Trinity; sisters, Bonnyjean Anderson and Wendy Keene and husband, John; granddaughters, Aurora Cox and Gianna Federico and many nieces and nephews

Deborah was preceded in death by her mother, Donnajean Springstead and her brother, Vernard Springstead.

A celebration of Deborah's life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Maier Family Funeral Home in Weidman at 2:00 p.m. with Robert Scott officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Memorial donations in Deborah's honor can be made to Woodland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
