Delbert Francis Mead

Delbert Mead, 78, of Mount Pleasant passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023.  Delbert was born on August 2, 1945, in Mount Pleasant, son of the late Francis and Lyla (Cook) Mead.  He was the owner and operator of Mead Well Drilling for over 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, his horses and was very creative and witty.  Delbert is survived by his wife Darlene Mead; son, Paul Mead;  daughter, Marsha Kettler; granddaughter, Valerie Kettler and her family; brother, Robert (Linda) Mead; brother-in-law, Glenn Pasch; aunt, Katherine Mead; and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by, both parents; grandson, Taylor Kettler; and sister, Shelia Pasch.  Cremation has taken place at Memorial Fields Crematory, and he will be laid to rest in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.  To leave a condolence for the family please visit www.CharlesRLux.com.
