Delors I. Durfee

Delors Durfee, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, at The Laurels in Mt. Pleasant, surrounded by her family. She was born April 11, 1935, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of the late Laurence and Wilma (Imhoff) Durfee. Delors was a former member of Penway Church of God in Lansing and enjoyed painting, word search puzzles, and watching her favorite TV shows, Little House on the Prairie and The Waltons. She was always good for many laughs and she was so thankful for everything she had in life, especially her family whom she loved dearly. Delors is survived by two brothers, Glen "Doug" Durfee of Mt. Pleasant and Donald (Adrianne) Durfee of San Jose, CA; sister in-law, Janet Durfee of Phoenix, AZ; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Herbert "Ted" Durfee. Delors' funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Irving officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions, in Delors' name, may be made to the Laurels of Mt. Pleasant or the family.
