Diana K. Murphy, age 69, of Weidman passed away on July 25, 2014 in Spring Hill, Florida.
Diana was born on December 10, 1944 to Kendrick and Mildred Leach in Jackson, MI.Diana married Michael Murphy in 2006 in Weidman. She worked as a dispatcher for most of her life. Diana was a member of the Weidman Church of the Nazarene and was very active in the church. She enjoyed singing and bingo; but she especially loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.
Diana leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Mike Murphy; mother, Mildred Kirk; children, Forrest (Stephanie) Dunn of Remus and Kendrick (Tracy) Dunn of Allen, MI; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren;siblings; 1 brother and 1 sister and numerous nieces, nephews,and friends.
Diana was preceded in death by her father, Kendrick Leach; son, Jerry Miles and daughter, Sandra Morrow; and one sister, Sandra.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Diana on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Weidman Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Brandon Metzger officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donation in Diana's memory may be made to the Weidman Church of the Nazarene. Envelopes will be available at the church and funeral home.
