Diane Margaret Mason, age 72, of Weidman passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at home.

Diane was born on January 21, 1942 to John Thomas and Lucille Phyllis (Imhoff) Lindenfelser in Detroit, MI. Diane grew up in the Detroit area and attended Detroit area schools. In 1984 Diane Lindenfelser married Louis Anthony Mason in Detroit at the Hope Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death in 2011. She was employed as a cashier for many years at Chatham Supermarket. Diane loved to read but her most cherished time was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.

Diane leaves to cherish her memory her children, Karen (Arthur) Colaiuta, Kristi (Timothy) Terry; 11 grandchildren, Andrea, Jennifer, Nicholas, Brett, Andrew, Jacqueline, Steven, Stephanie, Daniel, Taylor and Mikayla; 5 great-grandchildren, Ricky, Anthony, Marc, Patrick and Margaret; sister Jacqueline (Ken) Peters; brother-in-law, Jimmy DeFrance; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband, parents and daughter, Kathleen Lynn Monarch; and sister, Phyllis DeFrance.

Funeral services for Diane are scheduled for Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 3:00 p.m at the Zion Lutheran Church on South Coldwater Road with Pastor David Kipfmiller officiating. The family will greet friends at a visitation on Sunday at the Church from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m prior to the service. Interment will take place following the service at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorial donation in Diane's honor can be made to the Pancreatic or Lung Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the church and funeral home.
