Donald H. Brooks

Donald Brooks, 74, of Weidman, MI passed away on July 14, 2021, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility.  Donald was born on October 3, 1946, in Lansing MI, son of the late Kenneth and Elaine (Watkins) Brooks.  He graduated in 1965 from Waverly High School in Lansing.  Donald continued his education in cosmetology school and was a Douglas J instructor.  He was a nationally known hairstylist for over 50 years, and received several awards in this field, until retiring in 2019.  Donald enjoyed gambling, his flowers and gardening.  He also liked to watch race cars.  Donald is survived by his two sisters, Jo Lucile Barragan of Weidman, and Donna (Paul Horton of Conrad, MT; and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by both parents and sister, Joyce Lahti.  As per Don's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
