Donald Clarence Ward Sr, age 60, of Mecosta, passed away on October 16, 2015 at home.
Donald was born to Donald and Florence (Hayes) Ward in Minneapolis, MN on August 27, 1955.Donald graduated from Cooley High School. After graduation Donald enlisted in the United States Air Force.Donald married the love of his life Carol Ann Shampine on September 17, 1975.
He was an avid sports fan enjoying all outdoor activities especially hunting & fishing.Donald enjoyed playing music which included Country and Bluegrass but his most treasured passion was spending time with his family.
Donald is survived by his wife Carol; children Donald (Constant) Ward Jr, Anthony (Gynetta) Ward, Randy (Kathleen) Ward and Vince Ward; grandchildren, Dominick, Cassandra, Eliza, Jonah and Elizabeth; sisters, Cindy, Dawn and Judy and many friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Anthony William Ward, Jr.; and brother, Revis.
